Owner Marc Pauwels becomes Chairman of the Supervisory Board

OLEN, Belgium – The Belgian Chocolate Group NV appoints Frank Erfurt as new Managing Director as of April 21, 2023. Marc Pauwels becomes Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The Belgian Chocolate Group is a well-known producer and exporter of Belgian chocolate products in close to 100 countries through its own brands The Belgian, Koetjesreep and Starbrook Airlines, as well as through private labels.

Food industry veteran with 25+ years of experience

As a food industry veteran, Frank Erfurt (53) brings his 25+ years of experience at Sara Lee, Jules Destrooper and Vandemoortele, with numerous successes in both branded products and private labels. For the past 12 years at Vandemoortele, he led large teams as International Commercial Manager Bakery Products.
